Position: Auditor
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Description
The IT Auditor will serve as a member of the IT Audit Services group, located
in Charlotte, NC.
It is anticipated that travel could be up to 25% annually.
This position will report administratively to a Manager.
Major accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Work within a team environment to execute audit projects within prescribed time
budgets and at a high degree of quality.
Ensure high quality audit results and well-crafted audit report deliverables.
Assist in the development of both short-term and long-term audit plans in the
IT audit group through risk assessment activities.
Build and maintain effective client relationships.
Maintain current knowledge of matters impacting IT, the industry, audit and the
company.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications
4-year degree in computer science, business, finance, or other applicable field.
1 or more years of relevant audit work experience.
Varied IT experience including areas such as mainframe (MVS), PC/LAN (Windows
NT or Windows 2000), client / server, web-based systems, application
development, interfaces, databases, data security, e-business, project
management, etc.
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and
external customers.
Ability to develop and incorporate new technologies in the audit process.
Ability to apply auditing protocols.
Ability to understand global context/responsibilities of the audit function.
Desired Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately using oral and
written communications with all levels of management.
Ability to reason logically, analyze data presented, evaluate the impact of
information collected, and draw appropriate conclusions.
Demonstrated functional knowledge and technical skills.
Advanced knowledge in relevant information technology field.
Advanced degree such as an MBA.
Certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Internal
Auditor or Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
