regression passes on a huge matrix of test platforms? Are you interested in
doing something different, working on services to deliver rapid innovation? Do
you want to help protect Microsoft customers from fraud in the Internet realm?
Come join the AntiPhishing team who is looking for a talented and motivated
SDET to ensure the quality of our components. The AntiPhishing team is part of
the Windows Live Experience (WLX) Safety group that is currently getting great
press with the latest releases of Windows Vista and IE7. Currently we have 200
million users and 4 billion requests per day to our web service, both of which
we plan on rapidly increasing. We are proud of what we have currently
accomplished, but we have to continually improve to protect our Windows
consumers.
Candidates will own and drive their own features, work closely with development
and program management to define, implement, and analyze product test metrics;
develop test infrastructure and tools to automate the process, drive
testability improvements, analyze and debug code.
Candidates should have clear grasp on test methodologies that are applicable in
the services organization such as testing services, end to end data
distribution mechanisms and testing and deploying applications in integration
and production environments, in addition to building the right test
infrastructure for regressing the bits. Candidates should have the ability to
drive the quality upstream by clearly articulating and clarifying the
specifications, working closely with developers to understand and influence the
designs and build the right test infrastructure to deliver the identified
quality metrics. Our team’s automation leverages Visual Studio Test
Harness and integrates with WTT for test execution and prior experience in
developing tests in these environments is preferred. As all of the bits from
this team will be delivered to partners, communicating the test plans to
partner teams and working with partner teams to build appropriate integration
tests is a must ha

Qualifications for this position include 3 to 4 years of testing background.
Developing and testing C/C++ or C# code, experience with .NET Framework SQL,
XML, and IIS. A BS degree in Computer Science or a related field. Excellent
communication skills, ability to work well with other teams, and strong problem
solving skills are required. Experience with C#, XML, and Web Services is
preferred. Other requirements include strong technical aptitude & problem
solving abilities, demonstrated technical leadership, solid judgment under
pressure, and good verbal & written communication skills.
