looking for a qualified Senior Solution Engineer for our Framingham, MA office.
This key position is responsible for developing cross-brand infrastructure
designs for use by service delivery (CA's or Partner) to be included in
proposals, statement of work, and detailed implementation plans. Ensure
critical architectural requirements are maintained throughout the partner's
implementation as design changes are included. Ensure continuity for customer
from business development to implementation by the delivery organization.
Develop the technical and customer interaction skills of other Solution
Engineers/ Solutions Architects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should typically have at least 10+ years as an IT practitioner or
equivalent education, with at least 5 years in the design and implementation of
large-scale, multi-tiered, heterogeneous IT infrastructures. Excellent
analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task (e.g., handle multiple
projects at once) and have understanding of software sales cycle.
Ca desires the ability to form strong working relationships with senior partner
technologist to jointly develop an overall solution design. The ideal candidate
must have the ability to communicate technical insights and architecture
effectively to project manager and other counterparts.
In so far as technology is concerned, CA would prefer a proven track record
working within one of our competitive spaces. Previous development experience
in CA’s security products (CA Transaction Minder, CA Command Center,
eTrust Access Control, eTrust Identity and Access Manager) or in CA’s ESM
offerings (CA Service Desk, eHealth, or Spectrum). Software development
experience utilizing C/C++ or JAVA API’s is required. The ability to
develop designs that will be scalable in client's production environment across
a range of CA products is also required. A Bachelor's Degree in a related
field is preferred.
