Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: London, , United Kingdom
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2007-07-28
Financial Services - Small merchant bank requires experienced information
security analyst to provide maternity cover.
Daily rate: £300 to £450.
This is initially a 6 month contract with possible extension to 12 months.
Working within a small team, the Information Security Analyst will perform a
wide range of information security functions including, but not limited to:
* development and implementation of information security standards, both
technical and procedural;
* provision of information security advice and expertise to business, IT and
information users;
* completion of technical and non-technical information security controls
reviews;
* participation in information security specific, IT and business projects;
* administration of the Bank’s IT systems, including problem solving and
documentation of procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team and with
limited supervision on their own projects.
A thorough, demonstrable knowledge of ISO17799/BS27001 is required.
Knowledge of business continuity management (BS25999) and the Data Protection
Act 1998 would be an advantage.
