Position: Sr. Security Analyst

We are seeking a Sr. Security Engineer with strong technical & hands-on skills
along with good communications skills and a positive outlook. Our fast paced,
dynamic environment requires out-of-the-box thinking and risk-based decision
making in order to develop creative and transparent solutions for the business.
We seek a proven track record of security architecture, design and
implementation and the ability to work with all other technology disciplines to
develop holistic approaches to business problems.
This position works closely with the Information Technology & Legal Departments
to help in the coordination effort to remediate security alerts and respond to
information security related incidents that could potentially impact the
network, systems and applications. Responsible for performing the daily tasks
associated with information security, incident response and handling,
vulnerability handling and security event monitoring. Execute security risk
assessments to assess the integrity of network connections, projects,
applications or processes.
Responsibilities:
Execute security event mgmt tasks including data gathering, correlation, &
analysis and the associated response activities for Incident or exceptions
Leading role in the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) process
Perform forensic investigations of security incidents
Conduct application security reviews to ensure proper security controls are
implemented
Perform monitoring/auditing activities (e.g. monitoring access logs and
assigned privilege levels) and respond to security events as appropriate
Execute vulnerability tests on networks, systems and applications when
necessary
Perform regular scans and security assessments of the infrastructure,
notify/escalate with IT, and document findings in a complete comprehensive
report that includes technical and non-technical findings and recommendations
Mapping the security environment, and creating the procedures for security
tests
Evaluate security infrastructure logs for anomalous and unknown behavior
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Strong problem solving experience required
Must demonstrate strong operating system skills in one or more of following: NT
and/or UNIX/Linux, Network skills are required. Candidate must demonstrate
solid understanding of foundation technology concepts, such as Information
Security practices, TCP/IP, operating system theory, web based application
architectures and traditional application architectures
Developing and/or managing vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
Security Monitoring & Response. Experience with Network Based Intrusion
Detection Sensors, with significant expertise in event correlation and Incident
Response
Forensics: Experience with Network and Systems Based Forensics
