Job description:
Responsible for developing IT audit plans and performing various IT engagements
for the Company.
Acts independently to perform the following tasks:
* Ensure that the Director of IA is informed of all important deadlines of
engagements (internal audit and SOX);
* Perform reviews of or prepare technical work papers for SOX general control
or automated control engagements or take on testing for domains associated with
the aforementioned areas;
* Be able to present to senior management in all related areas the results of
IT audits performed;
* Prepare final audit reports for publication; Keep abreast of the emerging
issues/risks in IT and the latest audit procedures/techniques and relevant
issues essential to the development of the audit plan and maintenance of
effective, comprehensive audit programs.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in MIS or related field of study required.
CISA certification preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
* At least 5 years progressive responsibility in information technology
auditing and 5 plus years of internal auditing in a large, multi-location
national firm. Previous experience as lead auditor.
* Exposure to SOX compliance requirements in IT.
* Thorough knowledge and proficiency of MS software including manipulation of
complex spreadsheets, access tables and full functionality of Word.
* Working knowledge of COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related
Technologies) framework, required.
* Familiarity and knowledge of ACL, preferred.
* Exposure to auditing in a large ERP environment with Peoplesoft and Lawson
highly desirable.
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the year.
* Ability to speak Spanish and English is a real plus.
