Position: Security Architect
Location: Roseland, New Jersey, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

The Information Security Architecture position designs information security
architecture utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools
and existing designs.
This professional defines complex architectural information security solutions
to address business needs.
This position requires an in-depth knowledge of ADP''s applications, functions
and systems.
The incumbent must be competent to work at a high technical level of all phases
of architectural design and implementation.
Responsible for leading the design and construction of architectural
information security solutions to facilitate the implementation of appropriate
security measures into ADP''s systems and products.
Assist in the development, testing and implementation of security plans,
products, and control techniques.
Support management and staff members with a high level of technical expertise
for risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures
and products.
Maintain an awareness of existing and proposed security standard setting groups
as well as State and Federal legislation and regulations pertaining to
information security.
Identify regulatory changes that will affect information security policy,
standards, and procedures, and recommend appropriate changes.
Lead the monitoring and evaluation of systems and procedures to protect the
data systems and databases from unauthorized users.
Identify and determine causes of security violations and recommend corrective
actions to ensure data security.
Communicate security procedures to users.
Provide security-related data to the technology budget process.
Establish ongoing direction for the security architecture to be leveraged
across multiple initiatives enabling web-based access for ADP clients.
Mentor a team of solution architects on the use of various technologies, best
practices, and components enabling secure access to ADP back-end systems.
Support relationships with key technology vendors in order to best evaluate and
deploy leading edge technologies where appropriate to ADP applications.
Participate in the definition of the strategic (long term) technical blueprint
for ADP Enterprise Security Architecture, and the tactical trade-off and
intermediate deliverables and implementations.
Provide project plan schedules and timetables for respective architectural
deliverables.
Provides technical analysis and design solutions with regards to area of
technical expertise for overall project/enterprise architecture.
Monitors project(s) to ensure adherence to agreed upon schedules and
consistency with system specifications and identifies and resolves problems
with testing and validation.
Provides a technical review and audit function as it pertains to Enterprise
Security Architecture.
Ongoing management level reporting of status, key milestones and success.
Communicating security architecture direction to multiple levels across the
organization
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience in Mainframe and Distributed Environments.
Minimum of 10 years in a Technology position.
Minimum of 5 years in an Information Security position, or a position that
required an understanding of Information Security.
Minimum of 6 years development experience.
Working experience with MQSeries and associated languages used to interfacing
with these applications.
Experience in deploying technologies across multiple hardware/OS platforms
including Linux, Solaris, NT, AIX, OS/390, z/OS.
Experience in mentoring and/or managing a virtual team of software architects
and developers.
Exceptional communication skills.
Experience in the development and deployment of two, three and four tier
implementations utilizing Java, .NET and/or COM based components and coding
knowledge of Java, C, C++, Javascript, HTML, XML, Java Servlets, JSP, ASP.
Database skills leveraging Oracle, Sybase, DB2.
Experience in legacy data access and a general knowledge of COBOL and mainframe
architecture.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Relocation is not available for this position.
