Position: Software Engineer
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Experience in the full Software Development Lifecycle for Windows based C++
application development with some exposure or training in assembly language.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential and good scripting
experience in Perl or Python would be desirable. Any experience with debugging
using OllyDbg or WinDbg and/or any other malcode analysis experience would be
highly regarded.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The X-Force VPS team requires a Software Engineer to assist in the development
of new and existing protection engines to combat Malcode threats. This dynamic
role initially will be focused on the ongoing development of our revolutionary
behavioral engine with a key focus on the reverse engineering of live malcode
samples using a debugger and implementing improvements to the core engine. This
is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly proficient Software
Engineer with strong C++ and Assembler skills to become part of a prestige
group withinX-Force with the provision of unlimited challenges and
opportunities for innovation and growth. Good knowledge of assembly language is
required and training will be provided in the use of debuggers to perform root
cause analysis of live malware. Preferred candidates will have the following
skills: C++ development for Windows, Object Oriented Analysis and Design,
