Job Description
Join a team of seasoned veteran security experts who have been highly
successful in previous security product ventures. Their products provide
sophisticated last line of defense protection against network-based attacks. In
this role you will provide post-sales support while assisting the client
services team to find ways of providing better services surrounding the
company’s host-based intrusion prevention systems (IPS). You’ll
exercise problem solving and trouble shooting skills regarding network issues,
web server issue and operating system configuration issues. You’ll work
closely with customers and will lead high-level security discussions. At the
customer site, you will install our client’s products to integrate with
other third party applications and products. You’ll provide on-site
knowledge transfer to the customer team and will provide overall security
consulting and engineering services to ensure outstanding customer
satisfaction. Travel is
required and could exceed 50%.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

A BA/BS degree is preferred. Requires 5+ years experience working as a Security
Systems Engineer where you have worked closely with enterprise security
products. You’ll demonstrate advanced understanding of network design,
routing protocols, networking fundamentals, installation and configuration of
operating systems, web servers and application servers. You’ll demonstrate
extensive installation experience with firewalls, routers, VPN switches.
Experience with IDS / IPS products is an asset. You’ll have extensive
systems level experience with Windows, UNIX and Linux. Security audit and
assessment experience is preferred. Certifications such as the CISSP, CISM
and/or CISA are preferred.
