Position: Security Engineer
Location: San Diego, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-07-14
Define and maintain corporate security standards, policies, procedures, and
strategies. Design, develop, and support various security technologies such as
network access control, virus/worm protection, encryption, authentication, Unix
security, Windows security, security awareness training, firewall security, web
application security, Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), network
security, Active Directory management, remote access technologies, and
internal/external vulnerability & risk assessments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
- Experience with network security concepts and technologies
- Experience with application security, including application security review
and requirements analysis
- Experience performing risk assessments or technical vulnerability assessments
- Experience with regulatory standards (healthcare, banking, Federal
Government, etc)
- Experience with UNIX, Windows and basic programming
- Experience within the healthcare field is a plus.
- BS in computer science or related technical field
***CISSP, CISA or SANS Certifications a plus
