Position: Security Consultant
Location: New York, New York, United States

Security Practice Manager
Fortify Software is seeking experienced developers with customer management and
project management skills to manage the rollout of Fortify products through
enterprise customers’ development teams. In addition to managing customer
deployments, this role will also be responsible for delivering software
security services, including source code assessments, consulting and product
training. Positions are available in Palo Alto and New York City.
Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple ongoing projects at enterprise customer sites
• Assess and scope customer requirements for application security needs
• Build enterprise application security plans with large customers
interfacing with development and security teams and senior management
• Scan client source code, audit results with development and/or security
teams and offer plans for remediation of vulnerabilities
• Produce source code audit reports for customers
• Deliver product training to customers and partners
• Contribute to the Fortify Knowledge Base and Best Practices
• Interface with Product Management and Engineering to enhance products
• Extensive travel required, as most work is conducted at the customer
site

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Job Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience in the area of real world software development and
build environments; Java/J2EE, MS .NET, Unix C/C++
• 3+ years experience in a role of software application or development
tool consulting to enterprise clients
• Experience in project management and account development
• Experience in the Enterprise Security space, especially application
security is a plus
• Experience and strength in interfacing with “C Level”
technical personnel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to succeed in a team - based environment
• CISSP, CISA, CPP MCP/MCSE and SANS certifications a plus
• Multi-platform experience strongly desired
• Bachelor's Degree required
