Position: Jr. Security Analyst
Location: Irvine, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Network & Academic Computing Services (NACS) at the University of California,
Irvine, is searching for an ‘IT Security Analyst’
The IT Security Analyst, under supervision of the Manager of IT Security, is
part of UCI's network security team. The team works with other groups within
Network and Academic Computing Services, and with departmental IT staff, to
protect UCI's information assets and IT resources. Responsibilities may
include: developing information security standards and procedures, performing
security assessments and recommending mitigating actions, operating IT security
system such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, investigating
security incidents, creating and distributing reports, promoting security
awareness, and planning and participating in projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Salary: Starting Range $47,838.00 - $78,668.00
Work Schedule: Standard work hours for this position are 8-5pm M-F
Final candidate subject to background check.
