Position: Security Engineer
Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2007-07-10
There are two contract positions available for 6 to 12 months with the
possibility of permanence. These roles are based in our professional services
team.
Cybertrust has just won the privelage to build and maintain the Australian
Customs Services Security Gateway.
**Please not this role does require Australian Citizenship**
Cybertrust has just taken on a new Federal Government Project. This project is
further fueling our growth.
This role requires a Federal Government Security Clearance, thus an Australian
Citizenship is essential.

What to Expect
You will also be involved in completing operation procedures, internal
maintenance and the build and installation of new hardware.
Your Experience
Two years systems administration experience in an IT environment, preferably
with a focus on IT Security. One year experience in LAN/WAN administration
environment. Operating Systems - Solaris, Unix/Linux
Experience (or qualifications) in FW1 and Sidewinder Firewalls + knowledge (or
qualification) of one or more of the following:
-Cyberguard
-Cisco Pix

JOB REQUIREMENTS

You have a strong security mindset and are comfortable with working in
UNIX-based environments including Sun Solaris, Nokia, Cisco and Linux.
You have a good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP).
You are capable and willing to acquire in-depth knowledge of network- and host
security technologies and products (such as firewalls, Network IDS, scanners)
and continuously improve these skills.
