Position: Software Engineer
Location: Mountain View, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-06-15
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for
software enhancements and new products. Responsible for the interpretation and
detailed design specifications for the coding, unit testing, and the
implementation of software modules in both new and maintenance programming.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Assist in the detailed analysis and design of user requirements.
Assist in the development of new features and enhancements to existing software.
Modify, unit test and implement existing programs per user requirements.
Write, unit test and implement new program requests per user requirements.
Interact with customer support personnel to obtain the necessary information
needed to solve user requests.
Assist in the implementation of new software releases both in the development
of the software and the distribution and installation of the software at user
sites.
Assist in the guidance of programming personnel in coding, testing and
implementation of the software.
Assist in trouble shooting issues and problems with internal systems and with
customer systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Computer Science or related field (i.e.
Math, Management Information Services) from four year college or university or
equivalent
4 -6 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
POSITION SPECIFIC DETAILS:
BSCS or equivalent with GPA of 3.2 or better
0-3 years experience in Software Development
Excellent communication skills, including written, oral, and listening
Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Java
Knowledgeable in Linux and/or Windows
