Position:       Sales Representative
Location:       Baltimore, Maryland, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2007-06-18

The Sales Director will report to the Vice President and General Manager and 
will help attain sales goals within Federal including DoD and Intel sectors 
through the support of Federal Systems Engineers. The Sales Director will be 
responsible for working directly with the Federal Systems Engineers in 
demonstrating the company’s products and services to all levels within 
Federal organizations and entities and will be responsible for successfully 
helping execute lab and field trials and other product evaluations of 
company’s products.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Qualifications:
•10+ years of successful quota carrying experience for network and network 
security products in the federal government sector
•Demonstrated success of selling network security products/applications to 
Department of Defense entities and other government agencies
•Demonstrated knowledge of processes for closing large government 
transactions, including forecasting, quota attainment and sales presentations. 
•Working knowledge of intrusion prevention, intrusion detection, firewall 
and encryption applications
•Working knowledge of network and system exploits, vulnerabilities and 
hacking techniques and methods to block, monitor or track them
•Working knowledge of Information Security Products and Techniques 
(Intrusion Prevention/Detection, URL filtering, Firewall & system monitoring, 
encryption technologies/VPNs/PKI/IPSEC, etc.)
Experience with one or more of the following companies’ products: Cisco, 
Juniper, Netscreen, Lucent, Nortel, ISS, or McAfee
•Top Secret Security clearance is a plus.
