Position: Security Engineer

experienced Network Security professionals to fulfill current and future
opportunities nationally!
We are looking for top experienced talent with 6 to 8+ years of hands on
system/network security administration that is dedicated to exceeding client
expectations and willing to contribute to team efforts. We are looking for
individuals who can communicate security planning, solve complex network
security issues, participate in customer assessments/reviews and present to CXO
level executives. At Cisco, with a seasoned mix of broad networking knowledge
and specific area expertise, as well as excellent Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) skills, you're well positioned to become a trusted advisor
capable of building solid, long-term relationships with customers.
In addition to excellent communication skills we are looking for expertise in
the following technical skills:
Designing, implementing and troubleshooting network security for enterprise
customers.
Extensive experience in security configuration of network devices (routers,
switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
Experience with Cisco Security Agent, NAC framework, NAC appliance, IPS, ASA,
FWSM, PIX
Detailed understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, BGP) and layer 2 to layer 7
protocols and technologies
Scripting experience with sh, csh, perl, python, awk
Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools such as nmap, nessus, ettercap
CCNP, CCSP, CCIE certifications are desired but not required. Other preferred
certifications are CISSP, SANS GIAC, NSA IAM. Typically requires BS, CS, or
University degree equivalent. Most positions are remote and 50%+ travel is
required.
