Position: Sr. Product Manager
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

The company is looking for skilled Technical Product Manager to join our
organization in Atlanta.
The Technical Product Manager will help coordinate the launch of Managed
Security Services, from design through product release, working with other
engineers, following standard procedures. This frequently requires leading
cross functional teams of engineers and other product development
professionals.
This position will help train and support Sales and Operations team on current
and upcoming releases and provide Feedback to the appropriate Product Managers
and Development Leads on Features and New Feature Suggestions
Successful candidates will have supported multiple software programs or
services in demanding environments, and will have extensive knowledge of
Information Security Technologies and best practices. Knowledge of software
engineering, programming practices, and software functional design capabilities
is preferred. They will have strong organization skills, demonstrated
proficiency in solving cross-functional problems and excellent written and oral
communication skills.
Responsibilities
The primary job responsibility will be to work closely with engineering, QA,
product management, marketing, sales and operations teams to manage the
development of software releases from design through release. This includes,
but is not limited to:
• Authoring software functional specifications for new products and
features
• Collecting, organizing and prioritizing new feature requests
• Working with Engineering and QA to refine product features and
implementation
• Training internal customer on upcoming releases
• Working with internal and external clients to gather and prioritize new
feature requests
• Supporting the Sales process
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience with demonstrated success is
required
• Deep Knowledge of Information Security Technologies. Including, but not
limited to: Firewalls, Anti-Virus, Intrusion Prevention, Encryption, Host and
Network Security.
• Experience with the full product lifecycle including requirements
gathering, product planning, and product execution
• Experience contributing to the design of software functionality in a
major product release
• Shipped at least one major software product release
Preferred
• Unix command line or scripting skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
preferred
