Position: Application Security Architect
Location: New York, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

This position for a lead technical software engineering and solutions architect
role in the CIBT Technology Products Architecture and Engineering Group,
supporting operational activities and business requirements to support the
Utility Frameworks development initiative and the CIB infrastructure
remediation program to build solutions for infrastructure gaps that drive
revenue for Wachovia and create differentiation for key Wachovia CIB business
lines. Key performance metrics will be on the number of successful production
deployments of CIB business line applications that are built using
mass-customized components from the CIBT data, access, mediation, and server
SOA and SOI frameworks. Responsibilities will be to partner with other CIB
Technology groups collect and negotiate user requirements, feedback, and
communication around existing and planned framework capabilities. Prepare
project oriented materials, topology views of the physical & logical
environments to partner with
other groups. Prepare and help deliver complex business requirements for
production enhancements and projects, including client desktop, Java server,
Enterprise Service Bus mediation, and data access frameworks. Collect and
Formulate logical statements of business requirements in the Business
Requirements Document as it relates to the PLC definition within CIBT. The
candidate must have the ability to analyze data and/or requirements from
multiple working groups and translate them into business objectives and
deliverables that can be presented back. Review Technical Requirements
Documentation to ensure that the solution meets the business need. Work with
the Production engagement teams of Technology Product Group to deliver business
goals, objectives and project deliverables. Document and coordinate all SDLC,
Change Control processes via Project Office. Give guidance and direction to
other Systems Analyst, as needed. Hands on technical specialist with good
communication skil
ls, experienced with executing the ITIL processes of service support and
service delivery in a datacenter. Develop integrated solutions that are built
using mass-customized configuration templates that have been tested and proved
across the following preferred SOA and SOI components: DataPower XI50
appliances for Web Application Firewalls in the DMZ, and as ESB Gateways in the
intranet for Web Service Proxies to Tibco EMS, MQ and Oracle 10G databases with
virtualized compute resources that are managed by DataSynapse Grid Server 4.2 /
Fabric Server 1.3

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years working experience in building IT solutions for Financial
Markets. Working knowledge of grid computing, utility service delivery and or
ITIL service management best practice. Technical knowledge of JBOSS 4.0.5 BEA
Weblogic 9.2 Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 Windows Server 2003
Enterprise 32-bit Windows Server 2003 64-bit Windows Compute Cluster Edition
64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 32-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 64-bit SuSE
Enterprise Linux 9 32-bit SuSE Enterprise Linux 9 64-bit Load Balancers, PXE
Boot configurations, VMWare ESX, Blade servers, with C#, C++, J2SE/J2EE/AOP,
and Ruby programming experience. Strong communication skills, analytical
ability, and the ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and
staff, and other groups in CIB Technology. Ability to collaborate with others
or work independently, initiate action, adapt to change, make difficult
decisions and accept challenging assignments. Ability to handle multi
ple large or critical tasks concurrently, including projects and business
assessments. Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving
skills. Attention to detail and strong focus on quality. Demonstrated
experience in using Rational Software Architect V7, DataPower XI50 3.6.x GUI,
Visio, Datasynapse GridServer 4.2. Fabric Server 2.0 and DOORS requirements
management tool experience is a plus. Familiar with use of SAML, XACML.
