Covestic is looking for a Program Manager to lead remediation activities in the
wake of a PCI compliance audit being conducted at one of our clients. In this
role, you will lead the prioritization of identified issues, facilitate
development of an appropriate response and drive several interrelated work
groups through required remediation activities. This program has C-level
visibility. To be successful, the Program Manager will need to pay close
attention to the details in coordinating the multiple work streams and, in
parallel, establish and maintain appropriate expectations at the executive
level.
The primary responsibilities of the Program Manager include:
-Developing a project plan including a project approach, success criteria,
risks, activities, deliverables, resource requirements and budget.
-Building a high performance project team and managing delivery to plan.
-Communicating project status and facilitating the resolution of project
impacting issues
-Managing internal customer, key stakeholder and 3rd party expectations
-Accepting accountability for project success
-Coordinating activities across organizational boundaries and with 3rd parties
-Coaching project staff to continuously improve project delivery quality and
efficiency
-Contributing project management best practices, tools and techniques to
increase performance across teams.
Position is located in Chandler AZ and local candidates are preferred
The only candidates that will be considered to travel to Arizona for this role
must:
...Be a PCI guru, having done large implementations/remediations AND be a bona
fide and experienced IT Program Manager with commercial experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Experience - External:-7+ years IT Project Management experience including IT
infrastructure and full SDLC. Previous consulting experience preferred.
-Familiarity with PCI desired. Previous experience managing remediation
projects for PCI or other compliance standards (e.g., SOX) strongly required.
-History of on time/budget delivery of quick-turn projects running in parallel
with multiple dependencies.
-Willingness to dive into the details and take on responsibility for delivering
some project activities.
-Ability to facilitate complex decision-making and drive consensus.
-Strong communication and negotiation skills across technical and business
audiences at all levels within an organization.
-Understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). PMP
Certification preferred.
-Proficient with MS Office Tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Visio, Project).
