The Pre-Sales Engineer performs the following function: technical pre-sales support for family of products in a defined geographic territory or on a national basis for a market vertical. The Pre-Sales Engineer must have working knowledge of several of these technology areas: Network & Perimeter Security: Firewalls, IDS, IPS Threat Management Security Information Management Systems (SIMS) Working closely with assigned sales personnel, the Pre-Sales Engineer is Responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle and is often involved with the client post purchase.
