The ideal candidate will be comfortable with storage and security technology concepts, possess strong cross functional team management skills and the ability to adapt to a fast changing business environment. A strong candidate must have specific prior experience in the storage, storage networking and/or data security industries. Aside from proven success in a classic product management role, prior experience developing and running joint go-to-market programs with partners is a plus, including co-marketing, sales awareness, product interoperability and integration. The candidate should be customer focused, ensuring product features and roadmap address customer needs in a fast growing market. In addition, the candidate must interface with and build strong technical partnerships with industry leading players. The candidate should be comfortable articulating business benefits as well as abstract technical concepts to a wide range of audiences, including customers, sales, partners and the development team. Responsibilities: • Assessment of market opportunities, customer and partner requirements, competitive positioning, technology trends and business forecasts. • Prioritize market requirements, develop business cases for new products and communicate requirements through Market & Product Requirements Documents, as well as the product roadmap. • Develop pricing and positioning strategies based on market and competitor analysis • Ensure timely product launch including the delivery of positioning documents, product collateral, training and best practices guides etc. This individual will also work with outbound marketing, direct and channel sales teams, partners and technical support to promote the product benefits/features. • Develop collaborative marketing and sales programs, with strategic partners to drive data security message and accelerate product adoption and awareness.
