Position: Compliance Officer
Location: Bozeman, Montana, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

RightNow Technologies is currently looking for a Compliance Specialist within
our Corporate Security team located at our Bozeman, Montana headquarters. The
position will report to the head of Corporate Security. As RightNow
Technologies is a global company, this role may require infrequent travel.
The Compliance Specialist’s role is to ensure the secure operation of the
in-house computer systems, servers, and network connections in accordance with
our internal processes, procedures, and compliance requirements. This includes
conducting regularly scheduled audits on internal systems and hosting
third-party audits as required in order to maintain certifications and
compliance certificates.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

A qualified individual for this position will be comfortable in a leadership
compliance rol in a fast-paced organization. The successful candidate must
possess a “can – do” attitude and a demonstrated willingness to
do what it takes to ensure that the organization’s compliance needs are
met.
Requirements
* Intimate familiarity with common data security standards and frameworks
such as: ISO 27001/17799, PCI DSS and Sarbanes Oxley
* Experience directly managing third party audits, audit teams, and
associated processes
* Certifications in security related curriculum, CISSP, SANS, etc.
* Broad knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus
software, data encryption, and other industry-standard techniques and practices
* Knowledge of applicable practices and laws relating to data privacy and
protection
* Knowledge of law enforcement practices and procedures
* Ability to conduct research into security issues and products as required
* Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
* Strong organizational skills, self motivated, and detail oriented.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment.
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
* College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science
and/or four years equivalent work experience.
The ideal candidate will also be a mature, confident individual with strength
of character and conviction. They must have a sense of humor, be easy to work
with, and have a serious perspective on delivering for the business and the
customer. They must be able to operate effectively in an extremely fast-paced
and frequently changing business and technical environment.
The position requires leadership, flexibility, and a tremendous work ethic.
