Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Arlington/Fairfax, Virginia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-06-04
The job is Exploitation Assessment (BLUE TEAM) in support of the warfighter.
It mainly involves looking through IDS alerts, Raw Network Traffic, and a
Correlation Database for malicious insider activity. This data is also
correlated with physical information such as surveillance and physical access
information.
Candidates should have the following background/characteristics
- Hands On experience with Network Traffic/Packet Analysis
- Hands On experience setting up, managing, and operating Intrusion Detection
Systems
- Familiarization with Attack and Exploitation techniques
- Self Motivated
- Able to work closely with a small team in a military environment.
- Experienced operating and managing Windows/Unix Operating Systems with tasks
such as Backups, Maintenance, etc. (This is not a primary role, but it is a
small team and everybody on the team needs to know how to setup a network and
familiar with troubleshooting, etc.)
- Top Secret SCI clearance preferrably through the DOD.
