Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Senior Application Security Specialist needed for growing Security Software
company located in the Chicago area.
Main focus of this position is to provide application security consulting
services to clients including the following tasks. Perform application security
assessments, risk assessments as well as perform secure development lifecycle
process assessments. Will be developing application security standards and
policy documentation and develop and lead of application security training
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
in a software security position with experience researching, developing, and
applying new technologies and methodologies. Must have excellent communication
skills, both oral and written and the ability to use Windows and/or Unix
systems. Other skills needed are TCP/IP networking knowledge, advanced Web
technology knowledge (i.e., HTTP, HTML, SQL)
Certifications are a definite plus.
Travel up to 50% may be required.
Excellent salary package available for qualified individual.
