Sr. Network Security Engineer
The position of Senior Network Security Engineer provides the development and
implementation of the network security infrastructure necessary to ensure the
safety and soundness of the company's assets and operations. The position
focuses on developing and assisting in the implementation of Network Security
Architecture, as well as supporting policies and procedures necessary, to
ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the companys and its
customers assets. This includes conducting Network Security Architecture
Certification and Accreditation (including network change/security assessments,
monitoring the network for compliance to policy, and conducting/managing both
internal and external penetration testing), Developing and implementing a
comprehensive Intrusion Management Program (including intrusion detection,
intrusion protection (Virus protection, denial of service, etc.), and Incidence
Response Program, developing firewall configuration and management sy
stems, developing encryption and key management policies/procedures, VPN
design and management, develop and implement security administrative policies
and procedures, as well as conduct daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual access
and certification reviews.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirement:
Some form of technical network security certification preferred (SSCP) and/or
CISSP.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
Working security knowledge of: TCP/IP networks, various Windows environments,
Bindview, NT, Novell, VPN systems, encryption schemas and algorithms, security
tokens, various authorization and authentication mechanisms/software, intrusion
detection and protection software and methodologies, firewall design and
management experience (Checkpoint, CISCO, etc., various virus
protection/detection/clean-up tools)
Ability to design security controls based on level of risk, supporting a
defense-in-depth network security strategy.
Excellent written skills, and proven policy & procedures development capability.
Strong project management skills.
Experience managing consultants.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to design, resource, conduct, status, and complete projects
independently, with minimal supervision.
