Position: Application Security Architect
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Growing Start up Software company with Successful Senior Management team is
seeking an Architect to add to it's ever expanding staff.
The Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing our web
portal. Specific duties will include definition of product architectures,
documenting product functional specifications to meet the marketing
requirements, design, test and release of software adhering to our software
development process and interfacing with QA.
Responsibilities include preparing work estimates for assigned tasks and
complete all work according to schedule and quality requirement, write
readable, maintainable, high performance code that meets organizational
standards as well as write design and functional specifications for use in
implementation and testing.
Successful candidate will act as technical lead on projects, as required while
provide ongoing feedback on deliverables. Will solicit code reviews for work
and participate in code reviews of others’ work and acquire knowledge
necessary to perform job assignments (technology, product and process).
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements also include a strong background in web development and expertise
with Java, EJB, JBOSS, Apache and Tomcat, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX techniques,
and Java applets.
Experience to include at least 7 years of experience in developing n-tier web
architectures with expertise with Windows, Solaris or Linux. as well a
knowledge of database, such as Oracle or MySQL. Must also be responsible for
software development lifecycle experience from design to testing while
produceing design documents based on product requirements.
