Position: Certification & Accreditation Engineer
Location: Alexandria, Virginia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-05-26
The work requires C&A analysts and ST&E engineers with experience conducting
system certification and accreditation processes in accordance with NIST SP
800-37 and the 800-53 series.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The resources must also have experience categorizing federal systems in
accordance with FIPS 199. The specific work products for which we require
specifically relevant experience developing client deliverables include:
· Security Assessment Report (SAR)
o Certification Work Plan (CWP)
o Security Assessment Plan (SAP)
o Security Controls Assessment Report (SAR)
o Risk Assessment Report (SAR)
o Contingency Plan (CP)
o FIPS 199 Sensitivity Assessment
o Certification Statement
o System Security Plan (SSP) following NIST 800-53 Initial Public Draft
(IPD)
o Privacy Impact Assessment (if applicable)
Ideally, ST&E engineering candidates will have experience conducting
application and/or network scanning activities using tools such as NESSUS, Web
Inspect, Core Impact, etc. C&A analyst candidates will have experience leading
C&A efforts throughout the entire workflow process, from categorization and
boundary definition to conducting IV&V of submitted C&A packages.
