Position: Security Consultant
Location: Riyadh, , Saudi Arabia
Type: Permanent P/T
Closing Date: 2007-06-01
• Set strategic direction for network technology.
• Perform architectural design and integration for complex and large
scale multi-service networks.
• Work with the business to scope and position network products &
services.
• Develop technology roadmaps for implementation into production networks.
• Able to design large scale network solutions to satisfy High
Availability, Scalability, Performance, QoS & Security requirements.
• Able to translate high level designs into detailed implementation and
project plans.
• Provide technical leadership in the execution of the implementation
• Design/implement testing methodologies and manage the outcome of the
testing
• Should have excellent documentation and drawing skills.
• Maintain up to date network documentation.
• Follow change management procedures to justify, schedule and plan
network changes and outages. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Able to use network testing & management tools, traffic generators and
sniffers to troubleshoot, analyze and perform capacity planning.
• Should be a team leader with excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
• Should be aware of voice and IPTEL technologies
• Should be aware server fabric switches used in grid computing and
server farms.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
• MPLS/VPN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, RIP, TCP/IP, IPX, Frame Relay, ISDN,
PKI, IPSec, VPN, DLSW, QoS.
• Cisco Routers: 1700, 2600, 3700, 3600, 7200, 7500 series routers
• Cisco Catalyst Switches: 2900, 3500, 2900, 4000 and 6000 series
switches.
• Exposure to IP Telephony and Wireless LAN is an advantage.
• Exposure to Firewall and IDS systems is an advantage
• Holds a university degree in Telecommunications or Electrical
Engineering.
• Should have at least 10 years experience in networking.
• Should be a CCIE.
