Position: Security System Administrator
Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Type: Permanent P/T
Closing Date: 2007-06-02
Come and work for a leading telecommunications company in Sydney, Australia who
service a major banking organisation.
You will be responsible for Network Perimeter Security Surveillance, event
detection and incident management.
Shift hours 7am - 7pm rotation.
You will report to the incident team leader.
Job Title: Security Technician
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibility's:
* Diagnosis and resolution of client/internal operational incidents.
* Change management of customer/internal devices.
* Management and operational reporting.
* Support and management of Lan/Wan infrastructure.
* Security consulting/advice.
* Responding to security monitoring alerts.
* Manage incident queues.
* Perform daily checks.
Experience/Qualifications:
* CCNA/CCSA - MUST have
* CCSP/CCSE - Desirable (or relevant exp)
* 5 years proven technical experience
* Perimeter Security experience
* Understanding of complex multi vendor environments.
* Hands on experience of dynamic routing protocols i.e BGP, OSPF
* Cisco PIX, routers and switches, Checkpoint NGX, IPS, IDS
* VPN
* Advanced Network Topology and Network Security knowledge
* Very good understanding of security fundamentals and best practice
* Change management experience
* Mail and proxy server admin exp
