Operations Analyst
for Assignment in Kuwait
The Operations Analyst provides network security detection, analysis and
reporting functions for the Army Computer Emergency Response team in Kuwait.
This individual will be assigned to conduct intrusion detection operations, as
well as willing and able to be available for shift-work during.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Conducts vulnerability assessments, around-the-clock security
monitoring, analysis and reporting operations.
• Initiates response to network security events and suspicious activity
involving Army and US military monitored networks.
• Notifies and coordinates security operations with base, major commands,
and other computer emergency response teams.
• Assists Army personnel with incident reporting, assessment and response
operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have an Associate’s degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Information Management or other related technical
discipline with a minimum of four years of Army communications; computer
systems planning or computer security job experience can be substituted for the
Associate’s degree. One or more technical certifications are desirable.
Preferred certifications include but are not limited to CISSP, SSCP, CCNA, SCNP
and SCNA. Training in military intelligence analysis and reporting is required.
Individual must be capable of lifting 35 pounds. Must be willing to work
non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays on rotating
schedule. Individual must be willing to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI
access. No licenses or certifications are currently required, but desirable.
