Location:       Washington DC, District of Columbia, United States

Position Overview 

Provide technical support in COMPUSEC, INFOSEC, IT, IRM, ADP, networks, 
desktop, servers, environments to include: Information Assurance and Trusted 
Security Development, Certification and Verification, Network Penetration 
Testing, Trace Back, Identification and Forensic, Wireless Security, 
Vulnerability Assessment, Intrusion Detection, Cryptography, PKI and advanced 
authentication, and Security Certification and Accreditation.  

Based up on a written request from our customer, employee will evaluate the 
task scope and sub-tasks required and will prepare written project plan and 
schedule for our customer for their review and written approval.  Employee will 
perform the technical task either individually or as a supporting member of an 
Audit Team.  Employee may function as a team/section leader on the engagement 
as specified in the technical instructions.  Task and/or sub tasks within the 
audit/review engagement/project will fall into one or more of a combination of 
the following categories:

·Risk Management/Risk Analysis;
·Vulnerability Assessments;
·Critical Infrastructure Asset Evaluation;
·Computer and Network system Security Engineering Evaluation;
·Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and re-accreditation;
·Contingency Planning;
·Emergency Preparedness (All levels of Federal and State government);
·Physical Infrastructure Protection (Land, Air, Sea);
·Computer/Network System Gap and Transition Analysis;
·Penetration Testing;
·Evaluation of security, integrity and interoperability of 
hardware/software Data Base Technologies;
·Hardware Configuration Modeling
·Test and Evaluation of Trusted System Development and Deployment using 
the Common Criteria (CC) and SSE-CMM-System Security Engineering Capability 
Maturity Model; 
·Verification and Evaluation of Systems/Network, Level-of Trust, 
Security Design;
·COMSEC communication/telecommunication Security Protection; and 
·Biometrics




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Requirements

·Have successfully passed a Top Secret Security Level Background Check 
leading to a TS (with further SCI compartments);

·At least ten plus (10+) years of documented, demonstrated hands-on 
telecommunication/network engagement experience;

·Demonstrate technical knowledge, skills, and ability (KSA’s) of 
the technical subject areas identified above;

·Possess one of the following:  Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer 
(MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network 
Expert (CCNE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), 
Internet Security Systems (ISS), Symantec Intruder Alert (ITA), Certified 
Wireless Security Professional (CWSP), Certified Wireless Networking Expert 
(CWNE), and or Symantec Enterprise Security Manager (ESM);

·Knowledge with the Secure Technology Laboratory Support Methodology; 
and 

·Experiences with reports and documentation;

·A bachelor of science degree preferably in information systems 
management, computer science or related  discipline

Other Skills/Abilities

·Travel Required: Employee will travel from their primary duty location 
to a temporary duty location, such as overseas temporary location;
