Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Riyadh, , Saudi Arabia
Type: Permanent P/T
Closing Date: 2007-05-17
Role Objective:
Member of the Security Operation Center section within the Systems Security
Department. Responsible for running daily operation of the SOC, Following up on
alerted alarms, Investigating Incidence and escalating whenever necessary. Also
responsible for ensuring the underlying SOC infrastructure is running within
its capacity and to advice on any foreseeable potential problem. The senior
analyst will also assist the section head in activities pertaining to the
running of the Security Operation Center.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Assists the Section Head in performing his duties and responsibilities.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the SOC infrastructure to ensure
that monitoring is always operational without any problems.
• Responsible for troubleshooting SOC related issues pertaining to SOC
devices and applications.
• Responsible for liaising with relevant BSF’s department
administrators to ensure proper details is obtained from various applications
and devices for facilitating effective monitoring.
• Responsible for maintaining standard and Flex agents of the Enterprise
Monitoring software
• To provide leadership and coaching to the SOC junior staff
• Generates and produces reports for relevant BSF’s applications
• Assist in Implementing the defined SOC processes and Procedures
• Responsible for monitoring high Priority alerts and follows provided
guidance to the resolution of such alerts.
• Functions as a point of escalation for Security Related incidents.
• Provide coordination with ITD as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of different Operating Systems (Microsoft and
Various flavors of Unix)
• Excellent knowledge of Networks and Networking Technologies
• Excellent knowledge of Various Secuirty technologies including
Firewalls, IDS, and Application Layers securities.
• Excellent Understanding of the OSI Layer Model
• Good knowledge of Banking processes.
• Excellent knowledge of information security concepts, methodologies and
best/leading practices.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of ArcSight as an Enterprise Monitoring Software.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Good Knowledge on ethical hacking and penetration testing.
• Good knowledge on security tools.
