Position: Security System Administrator
Location: London, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent P/T

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Information Security Administrator will administer access to the
Bank’s IT systems
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Information security administration – creation, amendment and
deletion of user access; resetting of passwords; management of privileged user
profiles; recording of system access; verification of system access levels;
• Information security monitoring and compliance – monitoring of
system access; investigation of any incidents detected; completion of reviews
of compliance with information security processes;
JOB REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE
• 1-3 years security administration experience encompassing standard
business and banking applications, DBMSs and UNIX.
• Ability to liaise and converse with all levels of staff, including
management, internal and external audit.
• Team player with the ability to work on own initiative with delegated
tasks as necessary.
• Understanding of technical security concepts and controls, including
ISO17799/ISO27001.
• Good financial business knowledge.
• Knowledge of current industry security products and control methods.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
• Friendly, outgoing personality, quick to learn and demonstrate initiative
• Good communication skills to enable the candidate to gain trust and
confidence of colleagues
• Ability to learn and pick up knowledge and skills in areas where
training is required
• Ability to work as a team member and on own initiative with minimum
supervision
• Ability to work to deadlines outside team's control, sometimes under
pressure
