--------------------------------------------------- SECURITYFOCUS JOBS - NEW OPPORTUNITY --------------------------------------------------- JOB DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------- Position: Sr. Security Analyst Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States Type: Permanent F/T Closing Date: 2007-05-13 The Senior Security Software Developer/Analyst will ensure that security awareness and protection are incorporated into the design and development of software for the Citrix Virtualization Systems Group in order to prevent vulnerabilities from being exploited by malicious users. Responsibilities will include: o Compose threat models of products. o Conduct vulnerability risk analysis. o Coordinate product security architecture. o Develop security test tools and conduct penetration testing. o Develop and support the Citrix Security Development Lifecycle. o Development and delivery of formal training of engineering personnel on security awareness in software designs, implementation, and testing. o The tracking, incorporation and compliance of commercial and governmental (domestic and foreign) security standards for Citrix products. o Conduct security audits and reviews of designs and source code for features and components to be developed or already existing in the product. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security from an accredited college or technical institute. • Strong English language written and verbal communication skills. • Strong C/C++ development skills. • Knowledge of current security vulnerabilities and mitigations. • Knowledge of theory and application of current cryptographic algorithms and protocols. • In-depth knowledge of network security protocols. • Experience with security vulnerability testing tools, development of threat assessments and security testing methodologies is a plus. Additional desirable skills: • CISSP certification • SANS GSE certification • COM/DCOM security experience • .NET security experience • Windows Operating System knowledge • Security testing experience Relocation assistance and full benefits package available.
