it. The primary responsibility of the Systems Integration Engineer is to
provide post-sales engineering services for Third Brigade customers. The
Systems Integration Engineer will work in the Third Brigade Client Services
team and assist in the development of best practices for designing,
implementing and supporting Third Brigade Host Intrusion Prevention systems at
customer sites. Strong verbal communication and relationship building skills
are critical to excelling in this results-driven role. The Systems Integrator
must be proficient in solving/troubleshooting network issues, web server/OS
configuration issues.
Tasks and Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer include the following:
- Lead high-level security project discussions with Customers
- Installation/Configuration of Third Brigade products at customer sites
- Setting up and presenting an attack demo to customer. Training will be
provided to the selected candidates
- Integration of Third Brigade products with other third party
applications/products at customer sites
- Manage customer expectations and deliverables
- Provide on-site knowledge transfer on setting up security profiles in Third
Brigade Products.
- As a primary provider of security consulting to the Customer, provide
security consulting and engineering services that assure a high degree of
Customer satisfaction
Location: Reston, Virginia. Travel required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Technical skills Requirements:
- 5+ years experience working as a Systems Integration Engineer for enterprise
security products
- Extensive networking, network design and network security experience
- Extensive understanding of routing protocols and networking fundamentals
- Experience in installation/configurations of operating systems, web servers
and application servers is required.
- Experience in installation/configurations of firewalls, routers, vpn
switches, IDS/IPS products is an asset.
- Experience with commercial or freeware security products (Firewalls, VPN,
Intrusion Detection) - certification a plus
- Windows and UNIX (Solaris, Linux) experience
- Knowledge of the latest hardware and software components and their
implementation and utilization is also required.
- A Bachelors degree in computer science (or equivalent) is preferred.
- CISSP/CISM/CISA certification preferred
- Security audit and assessment experience preferred
