Position: Sr. Product Manager
Location: Mountain View, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Responsibilities:
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for products and product
components of VeriSign's security offerings. Specifically, the Product Manager
will have a mix of Inbound and Outbound Product Management responsibilities:
Develop product strategies and roadmap to meet the business unit's short term
and long term objectives
Create competitive analysis that details our competitor's marketing, sales and
product strategies
Develop and prioritize product requirements for new products/services as well
as enhancement / change requirements for existing products/services to meet
changing market and competitive needs.
Lead cross-functional teams consisting of engineers, operations, marketing and
stakeholders from business units to develop, implement and maintain products
Provide product support to sales, support, customers and other stakeholders.
Support Sales via product training and joint customer presentations, helping
the sales team to position the product suite.
Create and review content sales/marketing collateral (e.g. customer
presentations, white papers, competitive briefings, product demonstrations,
data sheets, and FAQs)
Develop go-to-market plans and business models for new solution offerings
Evaluate and establish 3rd-party partnerships with complementary vendor
solutions
Help track product line business by developing sales forecast, reducing
operating expenses, and updated competitive pricing
Evangelize solution value proposition and offerings at customer visits, sales
training, seminars, and trade shows
Develop data driven models and analytically approaches to determine business
performance, growth and emerging opportunities
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
Prior experience in product management in a high tech company (10+ years)
Highly analytically decision making approach
Excellent presentation and customer facing skills
Demonstrated success at indirect management in matrix organizations
Self-starter; motivated; energetic
