Bit9, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated SQA Engineer to join our team.
This is an opportunity to join a small team of professionals working on the
design and development of a next-generation security product. As a member of
our team you’ll be planning for and performing manual and automated
testing tasks. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to assist product
developers and other groups with planning, designing, and troubleshooting.
Depending upon experience, you may periodically lead a team of SQA Engineers.
Essential Responsibilities
 Plan, schedule and implement testing projects
 Write and update test plans
 Write and review test cases
 Perform automated and manual testing
 Perform complex functional, workflow, regression and
performance tests, both automated and manual
 Plan, schedule, implement, debug and run complex automation
scripts
 Participate in engineering design reviews with project team
 Take ownership of qualification responsibilities for a
particular product area with minimal oversight
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
 Computer-related bachelors or masters degree or a proven track
record of successful professional experience in a related field
 Two plus years experience in development or product testing
 Demonstrated experience in identifying, analyzing and resolving
complex
technical issues
 Experience in creating and managing personal project plans is a
plus (providing time estimates, organizing work, monitoring progress and
reporting potential issues)
 Excellent communication skills
 Possess an understanding of development process, including
specification, design, development and documentation, and how relevant business
issues impact overall project plans
 Proven track record of individual and team contributions under
minimal
supervision
 Windows OS and kernel experience a plus
 IT networking and/or security experience a plus
 Python experience a plus
