Vurv is looking for a Web Application Security Analyst to help assess, define
and promote web application security. The unique candidates are those people
who are experts in web technologies and security. This position requires a
passion for information security and the ability to effectively research and
document at a highly technical level. These positions will work in closely with
Software Development teams and will have the following primary
responsibilities:
* Web application security assessment
* Source code vulnerability assessment
* Research new/emerging web-based hacking techniques and threats
* Evaluate new and emerging products and technologies
* Help define overall web application security standards and procedures
* Promote information security within Vurv
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
* Must be passionate about application security with a background in web
application development
* Able to demonstrate strong web application hacking/security techniques
* Strong development skills in at least 3 of the following: C#, Cold Fusion,
C++, Perl, Python, Java, PHP
* The ability to effectively communicate complex and detailed concepts to
others
