Position: Security Engineer

Firewall Engineer
New York, NY
I am working with a global professional services organization to identify an
individual for a role as a Firewall Engineer with extensive experience and
focus on Information Security and Firewalls. This position would sit in NYC and
its focal point would financial clients. This position would have a heavy focus
on Information Security and Firewalls including rule sets, load sets, load
balancing, etc.
Qualifications:
•Expertise in firewall design and support for a large site (>1,000) notes.
•Expertise in Juniper Netscreen ScreenOS 5 and Checkpoint NGAI.
•Strong experience with Cisco internetworking products.
•Experience with Unix (solaris, freebsd) administration.
•Experience with Perl scripting.
•Excellent communication skill;
•Detail-oriented and able to work in a highly organized team environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
•Able to work off-hours and weekend if necessary.
•College degree with 5 yrs + information security experience is a must.
•Financial service industry experience is a plus.
•Certification in Juniper Netscreen and Checkpoint NG is a plus.
