Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Westlake Village, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Network Security Analyst providing technical expertise across multiple
projects; design and implement network authentication and security systems,
define security policies and procedures; perform audits of organization’s
new or current information systems; evaluate operating practices to determine
if controls and security measures are adequate; assess dependability of
information systems and associated data; confirm adherence to policies,
standards, and industry best practices; develop test plans, procedures, and
checklists to obtain required data; and present written findings and
recommendations. Light travel is expected.
• Candidate’s strength should be in network-level security
(firewalls, routers, switches, etc) with good conceptual and hands-on skill in
this area.
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and authentication protocols, DNS, Active
Directory, LDAP, various authentication systems as well as Cisco, Firewall,
VPN, and IDS Systems.
• Good business acumen and a grasp of technology are essential. He/she
must have the ability to work closely with business and IT people at many
levels within an organization.
• The candidate must have a mature attitude, be decisive and be
comfortable working in a team or independently. This individual must be able to
work with little or no supervision much of the time.
• Candidate must be able to thrive in a corporate environment that
involves multiple daily meetings and previously established procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education required.
Continuing technical education is a must. At lease 3-5 years experience and
knowledge of Network Security experience.
• CISSP, SANS and Cisco and/or Microsoft certified a plus.
• Also Citrix Password Manager and SSO/RSO systems experience is a plus.
• Requires detailed knowledge of computer systems security, network
security, computer account management, and corporate policies.
• Firewall management, IDS, strong authentication systems, Microsoft
Active Directory, Cisco and AIX experience a must.
• Excellent data analysis skills; the candidate should be able to take
raw security logs and parse them into usable data.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to
handle multiple assignments concurrently.
• Excellent application of appropriate business ethics is a must for this
position: the duties of this position have both legal and employment
implications.
• 2 Factor and RSO (Reduced Sign-On) authentication experience is
required.
