Information Security Risk Management Architect

$100,000 - $110,000+ Base Range, Bonus to $15-20K+

If you’ve mastered the hands-on part of your information security career,
you know how to interpret the results of vulnerability assessments and
penetration tests and now understand a strategic, risk based approach to
creating security strategy, we should talk. Our client is one of the premier
companies in St. Louis where you will be positioned for significant growth as
you perform at a high level. In this role, you will determine where security
risks exist for instance in business units, applications and engineering. The
results of your high-level strategy and architecture work will be handed off to
a Security Architecture group for further development. This role has a
significant influence on the future direction of risk management and security
for the entire organization. This position has no direct reports. Rather, it is
a highly strategic and visible role where you’ll focus on identifying
risk, creating strategies to mitigate risk, creating policies and procedu
res and impacting the organization with decisions that affect the entire
corporation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

A BA/BS is required and advanced education at the Masters level is greatly
appreciated. Certifications such as the CISSP and/or CISA are strongly
preferred. You’ll demonstrate 8-10+ years of Information Security
experience where your earlier experience includes hands-on exposure to network
security, IDS, application security, database security, Internet security etc.
Your more recent experience will be heavily risk management based and could
include a mix of security awareness, creating security policies and procedures,
working with security metrics, etc. Your background may include consulting
experience but corporate information security experience is a must. Because
this position functions at a highly strategic level, you’ll need to
demonstrate prior experience working closely with line of business owners,
corporate officers and “C” level decision makers. Your verbal and
written communication skill will be exceptionally strong.
