Network Information Security Consultant
DC, VA, MD, on the Metro Route
$110,000 - $120,000 Range
Relocation Package: No
Job Type: Full-Time or Contract
Required Education: Bachelor
This is a government contract role in downtown Washington, DC, easily reachable
from a nearby Metro stop. You’ll provide a variety of network security
consulting services including but not limited to Firewalls, Intrusion
Detection, Vulnerability Management, Security Incident Management, Database
Security and more. You will work with staff from a variety of federal agencies
on incidents which may require access to classified information.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

A BA/BS is preferred combined with certifications such as the CISSP, CISA, GIAC
and vendor specific certifications. You’ll demonstrate 4-6+ years of
information security background that includes several of the following specific
skills: ArcSight SIEM, Cisco PIX firewalls, Cisco IDS, Top Layer load
balancers, Oracle, Symantec SESA or other complex enterprise-grade security
technologies in large and diverse federal agencies. You’ll possess a
minimum of an active Secret Clearance and be clearable to Top Secret and
possibly to the TS SCI level.
