Overview
StillSecure has established itself as a market innovator through its current
and emerging products. The Product Evangelist is primarily responsible for
building and growing the various communities around our networking and security
convergence product. This person will be a product advocate, design and
implement outreach programs to drive adoption of the product by new users,
manage the user community through our online forums, create programs that
provided targeted support to users, partners and developers, create and
implement community involvement initiatives such as user groups, create and
implement training programs, and foster the development of product advocates
within the user community.
Responsibilities
• Engage with the product user community and partners to drive adoption
and understanding of our convergence product and technologies.
• Drive product adoption through our product online forum, blogging,
conferences and user events
• Serve as one of the key product evangelists including writing, speaking
and promoting the product
• Lead the online product forums scope, content, responses and new
initiatives
• Ensure rapid response and engagement of users on the product online
forums
• Facilitate key communications with users and internal product
management, development and support when necessary
• Create and implement programs targeted at recruiting and supporting
product users, developers and business partners
• Collect and regularly report key community and adoption metrics
• Provide ideas, suggestions, escalate problems into product management
and support
• Work closely with product development and support to facilitate user
needs and product input
• Create feedback collection processes to provide voice of the customer
feedback into product development
• Create and implement product training programs
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. This is a full-time
position.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements / Skills
• The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a product
management, sales engineer, technical marketing, or technical evangelism role.
• The candidate must be intelligent, creative and have a proven track
record of success.
• The candidate should have an understanding of networking, security,
operating systems and virtualization technologies.
• Strong technical aptitude to learn and communicate on basic networking
and security technologies utilized in our product. Hands-on experience is a
plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Candidate must be comfortable delivering presentations to senior
executives and large audiences.
• Bachelor's degree required.
