The Senior Product Marketing Manager, will provide strategic marketing
direction for Websense security products including Websense Information Leak
Prevention solution, Websense Content Protection Suite. The Senior PMM will be
responsible for developing and directing go-to-market activities to achieve
planned business objectives and growth with a key emphasis on routes-to-market
optimization and strategy. Working with local marketing teams around the world,
s/he will develop messaging, positioning, and tools to equip the sales force
and channel partners. S/he will be the internal evangelist and a marketing
expert for the security products.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Product positioning and messaging
• Product evangelism to marketing, sales, channel, customers and prospects
• The development and coordination of go-to-market and launch plans and
strategies
• Development of sales tools, Product content and collateral, and
competitive positioning
• Support Sales and channel training/education for security products.
This person should be reasonably technical and have experience in B2B security,
specifically with security solutions at the network, experience working with
internal channel management professionals and channel partners, and engaging
with customers. S/He will develop strong relationships and work closely with
Product Management, Corporate Marketing, and Field Marketing groups.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum five to seven years experience in software/high-tech product
marketing for global organization with at least three years of that in Product
Marketing.
• Strong experience in enterprise system security products
• Strong experience with multiple routes-to-market including traditional
two tier distribution
• Strong presentation skills to large audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor's degree preferably in technical or business-related
discipline, or equivalent experience
• Ability to self-start, determining own direction to meet business
objectives
• Excellent presentation skills
