Management Application Developer (Linux Platform)
Job Description
- Design and develop web-based software solutions for a Centralized
Device Management product.
- This entails requirements gathering and specification, design modeling,
implementation, and integration with other system components.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills
- Senior level experience designing and developing object-oriented web
based management applications.
- Ability to write functional requirements specifications. Experience
designing and implementing object models. UML experience a plus.
- Veteran Java developer on the Linux platform. C++ experience is a plus.
- Back-end server skills, including integration with other system
components. Integration with third party event management systems a plus.
- Presentation layer skills, web development skills (Java Servlet model,
HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Struts, JSF).
- Solid relational database skills.
- Data modeling a plus.
- Good SQL skills. PostgreSQL experience a plus.
- Hibernate experience a plus.
- XML skills, including parsing models as well as experience with XML
object frameworks (marshaling/unmarshaling frameworks)
- Unit testing experience (JUnit experience a plus).
Advantages
- Experience developing Network Management Systems.
- SNMP experience a plus.
- SOAP toolkit experience (client and server) desired.
