Position: Penetration Engineer
Location: Manchester, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T

My client is a leading network security organization, currently hiring for a
Security Consultant with strong skills in network security and penetration
testing. Based from Lancashire, you will need 3 years commercial network
security testing experience. Potential threats include: Attack by a worm
through unpatched systems; Malicious compromise/defacement of Web sites &
Internet-facing systems including Web applications; Corporate security breach
via vulnerabilities in remote workers' systems; Attack on critical internal
information assets causing disruption of key data; Attack on remote access
mechanisms such as dialup and VPN. Report writing skills are essential for this
post. Experience of IDS, perimiter security or incident response would be a
bonus. If you have proven network security skills and a passion for the
