Job Description:

Nortel Government Solutions has an immediate opening for a Sr. Security Manager
located in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate must have a BS/BA degree or
equivalent and 8+ years of experience.
Summary of expected duties and responsibilities:
The ideal Sr. Security Manager will be required to manage and coordinate
security activities for multiple contract programs. Must be certified as a
COMSEC custodian or manager. Required to manage and coordinate security
activities for multiple contract programs. Must be thoroughly familiar with
applicable DoD Security Program and NISPOM requirements as supplemented for
handling Special Intelligence and Special Access Program. Experience with JPAS,
E-Qip, EPSQ and security management systems. Knowledge of administering
physical security requirements for SCI and SAP facilities.
Must be able to interpret and implement government and company security
policies and provide direction and guidance. Interface with senior managers,
customer representative and Program Security Officers. Develop and revise
security plans, procedures and instructions. Provide classification guidance.
Participate in an active Security Awareness and Education Program, and conduct
security indoctrination and Accreditation (C&A) program. Manage local COMSEC
account. Provide support to other security disciplines as needed. Must have a
TOP SECRET Clearance AND must meet the requirements of DCID 6/4. Must be able
to hold SCI and Polygraph required to meet customer’s requirements.

Additional Requirements:
Applicant must be knowledgeable of SCI Security requirements analogous to the
NISPOM, NISPOMSUP Overprint, DCID Manuals (6/3, 6/4, 6/9 and the Industrial
COMSEC Manual 90-1). Skills must be consistent with the ability to manage all
aspects of security as it applies to the SCI community. Requires the ability to
make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, interact with
government agencies on policy issues and provide focused solutions. Applicants
must have a professional work ethic, good interpersonal skills, ability to
communicate effectively both orally and written and create and deliver
presentations. Must be able to excel in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment,
prioritize and manage to schedule. Desired training and experience in the
following areas: Communications Security (COMSEC), Certification and
Accreditation (C&A), and FSO/CSSO Certification. Travel may also be required.
