Position: Security Engineer
Location: Manhattan, New York, United States

Title and Level
• Application Security Analyst
• Analyst.
Scope
• Perform security risk assessments of internally developed and
third-party provided information systems.
Reporting Lines
• To senior Application Security Analyst.
Responsibilities
• Perform security risk assessments of information systems;
• Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability at the
application level;
• Identify system vulnerabilities and propose additional security
requirements;
• Provide expertise in security control implementation;
• Third party vendor evaluation and risk assessment;
• Interface with business owners to classify information assets;
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Skills
• 2-3 years experience in Information Security or equivalent experience
in application development;
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of information security principles as
they pertain to Application Security;
• Experience with GLBA, SOX, and other legislation affecting the
financial services industry.
• Experience conforming to FFIEC Guidelines;
• Ability to perform efficient security interviews;
• Strong written/verbal communication skills, and organizational and work
documentation proficiency;
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple assignments,
and adhere to strict deadlines.
• Java Application Development background a plus;
• Knowledge of applications and systems employed by the Bank is a plus;
