Position: Information Assurance Analyst
Location: Austin, Texas, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-03-02
Application security assurance is a growing part of our overall security
portfolio. We are seeking an individual in this role to provide additional
depth and breadth in this growing team. In this role, the application
security consultant will:
-Conduct security assessments of IT applications, including "white box" and
"black box" analysis of web and other applications.
-Effectively communicate recommendations in concise verbal and written formats.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, countermeasures, security
tools and network technologies.
-Develop and maintain client relationships within Dell.
-Act as team lead during engagements or portions of engagements.
-Maintain technical proficiency, sharing knowledge through tool development,
template enhancements and methodology enhancements.
-Identify and implement improvements in existing processes and procedures.
-Mentor other consultants and peers in new techniques, tools and other job
skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candiate will have enterprise or commercial software development
experience in Java, C++, or ASP.NET (C#) environment. In addition to general
development experiences, the candidate must possess experience and knowledge in
security assurance activities.
-Experience with STRIDE and/or DREAD methodologies. Job responsibility will
include security code reviews of enterprise applications, threat modeling and
development of internal security tools.
-Minimum 6 years of application development / testing
-4 years web application security experience including 2 years web application
penetration testing
-College degree or applicable industry experience
-CISSP, MCSE, MCAD certifications desired but not required
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
-Ability to work in a global team environment
