Position: Director, Information Security
Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

PLEASE NOTE: Have full description for those who qualify. This is located about
30 min. outside Chicago.
This is for a Fortune 500 so must be able to handle this level and currently be
in a non consulting role. You will be developing and leading this global IS
organization for Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning. This person
will support the overall business continuity management process by ensuring tha
tthe required IT technical and services facilities can be recovered within
required and agreed business time scales. This person will also represent all
of the company in participating in the governance of any 3rd party suppliers in
the provision of these services. ALso provide leadership in developing
strategies and governance models for Disaster Recovery/Business COntinuity
planning in all company geographies and is the key systems influence with Sr.
Management in the line businesses in these areas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVES VIA CLIENT:
1) First, they will not entertain anyone they find posted on the internet. If

2) 15+ years of Business continuity planning/Information Systems/Security or
related function including implementation of a BCP program.
3) Very strong systems aptitude
4) Key certifications are a MUST HAVE ie. CISSP, CISA and CBCP (Cert. Business
Continuity Prof.)
5) Strategic problem solving ability
6) Degree
7) Great communications and ability to influence Sr. Management
